Welcome to The Gate and thank you for exploring our webpage. The Gate serves as the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) for McKendree University. We are a ministry of First Baptist Church of O'Fallon ministering to the residents of McKendree Univesity, and Lebanon, Illinois. We equip followers ot Christ to carry the gospel of Christ to those who don't know Him. Our desire is to present the gospel of Christ as a living, breathing, and powerful force that changes lives in the community. All are welcome to come and join us on our mission. Our mission is:

Worshipping God, Loving His Creation, Changing Lives

We take Christ's command in Acts 1:8 to heart. Christ said,

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Christ's command is reflected in what we do as we proclaim the gospel of Christ in Lebanon, the St Louis Metro East, and throughout the world.
